After the score, X spreads authors, then spreads topics. One person — or one subject — is not allowed to eat the page.

How it works

Same author, again. This is per page, not per day. When one viewer opens For You, the code is filling their 35 seats. Your first tweet on that page keeps its score. Your second on that same page is multiplied by 0.625. Your third by 0.4375. Later ones never go below 0.25.

Example: tweet A scored 100, tweet B scored 80. B becomes 50. Someone else at 55 can now take the seat. Five of your posts do not get five seats unless they still win after that haircut.

Same vibe, again. A second pass looks at how similar the remaining posts are. It keeps a spread of 150, then the top 50. After safety, 35 organics are left for the page. The published default does not rewrite your score to zero. It changes who stays in the room.

If you are new and small. One original — under 1,000 followers, under 1,000 views, under 24 hours — can be lifted toward slot 16. Once per refresh. A first-page chance, not a second career.

• Looking unlike the other high scorers. Different can survive a crowded topic.
